Every team starts on Free. Upgrade a team to Premium when it needs more packages or bigger ones, and everyone on it gets them, however many people that is.

For trying it out, and for teams with a few private packages.
$10a month per team
Or $100 a year, which saves 17%.

Premium costs $10 a month or $100 a year for each team that has it. Stripe handles every payment.
Plans are per team. An owner upgrades a team from its page, and everyone on it, and every one of its team keys, gets Premium. Nobody on the team needs a plan of their own.
Each team has its own plan, so upgrading one leaves your other teams, your personal team included, on the plans they were on.
Upgrade to Premium on the team page shows the price and these terms, then opens Stripe Checkout to pay. Stripe charges your card the price you pick, $10 a month or $100 a year, from that day, and the team is on Premium as soon as the payment goes through.
Your card details go to Stripe and never reach this server. It only keeps the ids Stripe gives the subscription and its customer, and whether the subscription is paid up.
Pick how often to pay when you upgrade. Paying $100 a year saves 17% over paying $10 a month. Owners can switch between them with Manage billing.
Stripe emails a receipt for every payment. Manage billing on the team page opens Stripe's billing portal, where owners change the card, download invoices and cancel.
Cancel any time with Manage billing. The team keeps Premium until the end of the period you've paid for and is never charged again. You can undo it in the portal until then.
Deleting a team on Premium cancels its subscription right away, and the rest of the period isn't refunded. If Stripe can't cancel it, nothing is deleted.
If Stripe can't take a payment, it tries again a few more times, and the team keeps Premium while it does. The team page warns its owners so one of them can update the card. If every try fails, the subscription ends and the team is back on Free.
Nothing is deleted. Every package keeps working, and the team can still publish new versions of them, but it can't add packages past 10 or publish archives over 100 MB. While it has 10 or more packages, a new one can only join it after one leaves.
Every package on the team counts, discontinued and unlisted ones too. Versions don't count, so a package can have as many as the rate limits allow. Mirrored packages belong to no team, so they never count.
