This policy explains what Private Pub collects and what we do with it.
When you sign in, Auth0 tells us your user id and email address. We store them so we can show who you are and who owns a package.
When you publish a package, we store the archive and the details in its pubspec, including author names and email addresses that you chose to put there.
We also store a session record for each browser you are signed in on, and the token you use with dart pub.
We use your information to run the service. That means signing you in, checking your token when pub asks for a package, and showing packages to the people you shared them with.
We do not sell your information and we do not show ads. We do not use analytics or tracking scripts.
We set two cookies. One keeps you signed in and is removed when you sign out. The other lasts ten minutes while you sign in, so we can check that the sign in started in your browser. We also remember your light or dark theme choice in your browser.
Auth0 handles sign in and follows its own privacy policy. The database and the storage that hold your data are run by the hosting provider of this server.
If this server mirrors pub.dev, a request for a public package can be passed on to pub.dev. Your token and account details are not sent with it.
We may share information if the law requires it.
If you pay for Premium, Stripe collects your card and billing details and follows its own privacy policy. We never see your card number.
We store the ids Stripe gives your subscription and its customer, the team it pays for and whether it is paid up. Stripe sends us updates about the subscription, like a payment that failed.
We keep your account and your packages until you or an admin delete them. Email support@private-pub.dev if you want your account and data removed.
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email support@private-pub.dev and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
